2015-16 (OB): Larsen made 16 appearances for OB, scoring one goal, on August 24, 2015 against Aalborg BK. He made two additional starts in the Danish Cup. At the midway point of the Danish Superliga season, Larsen signed for Columbus Crew SC.
2014-15 (OB): In his third season with OB, Larsen registered three goals and four assists over 32 appearances (31 starts). He notched a goal and an assist on November 2, 2014 against Hobro IK. Additionally, Larsen made a start in the Danish Cup Second Round.
2013-14 (OB): Larsen notched six goals and four assists over 32 appearances (29 starts) in his second season with OB. He went on a run of five goals in six games from August 30, 2013 against Aarhus GF through October 21, 2013 against SönderjyskE. He made two additional starts in the Danish Cup.
2012-13 (OB): Remaining in the Danish Superliga with his new club, Larsen totaled seven goals and five assists over his first season with OB in 28 appearances (all starts). He scored his first goal for the club on August 10, 2012 against FC Midtjylland. Additionally, the midfielder made one appearance in the Danish Cup’s Round of 16 against Vanlöse IF, a start, where he helped OB reach the Quarterfinals.
2011-12 (Lyngby): The midfielder improved upon his first topflight campaign to notch nine goals for Lyngby in 32 appearances (all starts), also adding two assists. He registered his first professional brace on November 20, 2011 against HB Köge. Following the season, on July 9, 2012, he signed for Odense Boldklub.
2010-11 (Lyngby): Larsen made 24 appearances (18 starts) in his debut topflight campaign in the Danish Superliga. He scored five goals and added three assists, with his first Superliga goal coming on August 29, 2010 against Bröndby IF. That tally sparked a run of four goals in five matches for the midfielder. During the season, he helped newly promoted Lyngby maintain topflight status.
2009-10 (Lyngby): At the age of 18, Larsen began his professional career with Lyngby Boldklub. He appeared in 27 matches (22 starts) in the second-tier Danish 1st Division, scoring 11 goals and adding five assists. He scored in his first career professional game on August 9, 2009 against FC Fredericia. He helped Lyngby to a second-place finish and promotion to the topflight Danish Superliga following the season. He made an additional two appearances in the Danish Cup.
INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

Larsen has earned seven caps for Denmark, notching two assists in total. He made his senior team debut on November 14, 2012 in an international friendly against Turkey. He has made two appearances in FIFA World Cup qualification matches, both in 2013, where he registered two assists in a 6-0 win over Malta on October 15, 2013. His last senior cap came on March 5, 2014 in an international friendly against England at Wembley Stadium.
On May 31, 2016, Larsen was called up by Denmark to participate with its Under-23s in a pre-Olympic tournament in South Korea. In the team's first match of the tournament, against the Honduras U-23s, Larsen made a substitute appearance as part of a 4-3 victory (June 2). He started in the second match against Nigeria (June 4), playing 60 minutes and registering a hat trick as part of a 6-2 win.
Prior to his senior team experience, Larsen made multiple appearances across Denmark’s youth setup, including at the Under-21, U-19, U-18, U-17 and U-16 levels.

PERSONAL
Larsen was born and raised in Lyngby, Denmark, a suburb of Copenhagen. Away from soccer, he likes to play golf as well as to travel and see different cultures. According to Larsen, his favorite destination that he has visited previously is Miami. He enjoys Mexican food and growing up, he emulated Ronaldinho and Zinedine Zidane, who he calls his idol as a youth. His favorite memory in the game is playing for the Denmark National Team against England at Wembley Stadium. He speaks fluent Danish and English. If he were not a professional soccer player, he would like to consider becoming a lawyer.
