One of the best performances of the night for came from goalkeeper Steve Clark. The Barbasol Man of the Match achieved a career high for saves in a single match with eight against the Impact. Clark now has 36 saves this season and 261 saves all-time in MLS.

Federico Higuain scored his 14th goal from the spot out of 20 attempts all-time in his career. That moves the Argentine into first place all-time in Crew SC regular-season penalty kick goals, breaking a tie with Guillermo Barros Schelotto. The Black & Gold also had a total of 14 shots on the night against the Impact, with five on target.
