2019 (Columbus): Romario Williams has made seven regular-season appearances for Crew SC (one start at striker) in 2019, scoring one goal. He made his 2019 regular-season debut in a road contest against the Chicago Fire (July 17). He recorded his first goal with the Black & Gold and of the 2019 regular-season during that same match. Williams made a substitute appearance during a road contest against the New York Red Bulls (July 27) coming into the match for Luis Argudo. He made substitute appearance during a road contest against the San Jose Earthquakes (August 3) coming into the match for Aboubacar Keita. Williams recorded his first start of the 2019 regular-season during a road match against New York City FC (August 21) playing 60 minutes. He made a substitute appearance on the road against Atlanta United (September 14), coming into the match for Gyasi Zardes. He did not make an appearance in the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.     

On July 1, 2019, Columbus Crew SC announced that the club has acquired forward Romario Williams from Atlanta United in exchange for $100,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM). Williams, 24, has earned 13 caps with the Jamaica National Team and scored two goals. The forward will be formally added to Crew SC’s roster upon the opening of the transfer window on July 9, 2019.

2018 (Atlanta United): Before 2018, Williams had only featured in two MLS matches. In 2018, the Jamaican forward saw action in 17 matches for Atlanta United. He scored his first career MLS goal on April 7th in a 5-0 victory against LAFC. He tied his career-high with 45 minutes played on two occasions, being subbed on at halftime vs. NYCFC (6/9) and Columbus (6/13). Williams totaled 211 minutes, eight shots and three shots on target in his third season with the club. US Open Cup: Started and played the full 90 minutes in both of Atlanta United’s Open Cup matches this season. He scored a goal in the 3-0 victory against Charleston Battery. USL: Williams featured in seven games during Atlanta United 2’s inaugural season in USL. The striker scored four goals in those seven appearances. He scored a brace on Oct. 7th against Charleston Battery in a 2-1 victory that earned him USL Player of the Week honors, the first in ATL UTD 2 history.

2017 (Charleston Battery): In his second year in the league, Williams earned USL Second Team honors and finished tied for fourth in USL in goals. The Atlanta United loanee scored 15 goals and added three assists in 22 appearances, averaging a goal every 114.3 minutes. During the 2017 season, Williams earned Team of the Week honors four times and won Player of the Month in June.

2016 (Charleston Battery): Williams spent the 2016 season on loan from Montreal Impact with USL team Charleston Battery. He scored in his debut as a substitute, a game-winning goal in the 93 minute for a 1-0 win over FC Cincinnati (Feb. 27). Williams scored six goals in his first nine games with Charleston and ultimately featured 27 times, starting in 22 matches. He finished as the Battery’s leading scorer with 10 goals.

2015 (Montreal Impact): After being drafted No. 3 overall in the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by the Montreal Impact, Williams made his MLS debut against Orlando City on March 28, coming on as a substitute in the 84 minute. He was loaned to USL team FC Montreal where he played seven games – starting in all of them – and registered one assist (Charleston on May 14). Williams appeared in one other MLS league game against D.C. United (Sept. 26), entering as a sub in the 92 minute.

2014 (Orlando City U23, PDL): Williams tallied seven goals and one assist in 11 games. He helped his team to a Fourth Round berth in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup after scoring three times, twice during the penalty shootout that finished 12-11 against the Charleston Battery. Orlando City U23’s fell to the Portland Timbers 3-0 in the fourth round matchup.

COLLEGE: Williams played three seasons with the University of Central Florida, recording 18 goals – including seven game-winning goals – and five assists in 51 games, 46 as a starter. He was a unanimous selection to the American Athletic Conference all-conference first team in 2014. Williams was also the 2013 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year.
