2019 (Columbus): Eduardo Sosa has made eight regular-season appearances (four starts as a central attacking midfielder) in 2019, providing one assist. He made his 2019 regular-season debut when he came in as a substitute for Robinho in the 84th minute during a road contest against the Philadelphia Union (March 23). Sosa made his first regular-season start of 2019 in a road contest against the Houston Dynamo (April 27). Sosa returned to that starting lineup during a road contest against Real Salt Lake (July 3) playing all 90 minutes. He made a substitute appearance during a road contest against Orlando City SC (July 13) coming into the match for David Guzman and playing eight minutes. Sosa recorded his third start of the 2019 regular-season during a road contest against the Chicago Fire (July 17) playing 65 minutes and providing an assist. He enjoys listening to vallenato music and is a fan of horror movies. In his spare time, Eduardo likes to play video games on his PlayStation, particularly the FIFA series. His favorite food is fried chicken. Eduardo also enjoys going to the beach when he can. Growing up, he supported Argentine side Boca Juniors. Eduardo’s favorite player is former Argentina and Boca Juniors midfielder Juan Roman Riquelme. He would like to visit France some day. Eduardo speaks Spanish and is learning English.
