Columbus Crew SC midfielder Wil Trapp was named the OhioHealth Humanitarian of the Year for his efforts in the local community during the 2018 season.
As part of the Club's year-end awards, Trapp received this recognition for his involvement with multiple initiatives, including Habitat for Humanity and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
A Gahanna, Ohio native, Trapp was also named a finalist in Major League Soccer's Humanitarian of the Year voting. With the season's conclusion on Nov. 11, Trapp completed his sixth year with the Club and his second as team captain.
