Columbus Crew SC welcomed 50 student leaders from various Columbus universities/colleges to MAPFRE Stadium. The students were given a tour of the stadium and were gifted with a swag bag of Columbus Crew items. Along with the tour, the students were given the opportunity to meet with members of the Columbus Crew front office and a player on the current roster.
Owner, Dr. Pete Edwards and President/General Manager Tim Bezbatchenko spoke with the students and learned what they value in an overall sporting experience and discussed what the club means to the city of Columbus. They were also greeted with alum Dante Washington and current forward Gyasi Zardes in our home locker room. They both discussed their past and current experiences with the club and how important the fan base and community is to Columbus Crew SC.
