COLUMBUS – MLS NEXT Pro announced today Columbus Crew 2’s 28-game schedule for the 2025 regular season. Crew 2 – who enter the year following their third consecutive Eastern Conference Final appearance – will host the majority of their home matches at Historic Crew Stadium and ultimately conclude the season with one fixture at Lower.com Field.
Crew 2 single-match tickets will go on sale on Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. for the affordable price of $10 per match. First Team Season Ticket Members will have exclusive access to discounted prices through the Membership Team at MembershipTeam@ColumbusCrew.com.
The 2022 MLS NEXT Pro and 2023 Eastern Conference champions begin the 2025 campaign on the road against Orlando City B on Sunday, March 9 at 7 p.m. at Osceola Heritage Park. Crew 2’s home opener is slated for Sunday, April 6 at 6 p.m. against Crown Legacy FC.
The Heck is Plausible Derby between Crew 2 and FC Cincinnati 2 returns this year, with each team hosting one match (home: May 18; away: April 13). The Capybaras also face off against Philadelphia Union II on three occasions, including two 3 p.m. kickoffs in Columbus on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, Sept. 14.
Crew 2’s Decision Day matchup against Chicago Fire FC II will be held at Historic Crew Stadium on Oct. 5 (1 p.m.).
Historic Crew Stadium opened on May 15, 1999, as the first soccer specific stadium in the United States. Now, more than 25 years later, Historic Crew Stadium continues to serve as a destination that facilitates a love for the beautiful game of soccer. The venue offers a family friendly atmosphere and a perfect site for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon with many matches kicking off in the late afternoon. Historic Crew Stadium also hosts various OHSAA games, concerts, music festivals and major events throughout the year, including Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival and Breakaway Music Festival.
