COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew SC today announced that defender Connor Maloney underwent successful left arthroscopic knee surgery today and is expected to be sidelined for approximately 2-4 weeks. The procedure was performed by Dr. Peter Edwards at Orthopedic One in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2017, his first campaign with the Black & Gold, Maloney has made two regular-season appearances (one start) and has recorded one assist. The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native attended Pennsylvania State University from 2013-2016, making 73 appearances (73 starts), registering 26 goals and 17 assists during his time there. Maloney was selected by Crew SC in the Third Round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft on January 27, 2017.
