Columbus Crew loan midfielder Hugo Picard to Ligue 1 side ES Troyes AC

COLUMBUS – Columbus Crew have loaned midfielder Hugo Picard to French Ligue 1 side ES Troyes AC through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season. Troyes has the option to acquire Picard permanently at the end of the loan.

Picard joined Columbus from French club En Avant Guingamp on July 14, 2025. The 23-year-old has tallied two goals and two assists in 26 regular season appearances (14 starts) and four goals during the 2026 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

TRANSACTION: Columbus Crew have loaned midfielder Hugo Picard to French Ligue 1 side ES Troyes AC through the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, announced on Aug. 17, 2026. Troyes has the option to acquire Picard permanently at the end of the loan.
