For reference, one could have watched Titanic almost three times consecutively and still have not witnessed a goal creep past the 23-year-old Downingtown, Pa. native.
The shutout streak marked an all-time Crew SC record as well as the eighth-longest streak all-time in Major League Soccer history. For his record-setting efforts, Steffen was named MLS Player of the Month presented by EA SPORTSā¢ for the month of May.
